So it looks like Fox’s Fantastic Four reboot is making some serious headway. CBM is reporting that True Blood star, Stephen Moyer, is in talks to play the notorious Fantastic Four villain, Victor Von Doom. Von Doom, better known as the infamous Doctor Doom, is the definitive Fantastic Four archnemisis. Although it is unknown what part Von Doom will play in the upcoming reboot, one cannot help but notice Moyer’s resemblance to Julian McMahon, who previously played Victor Von Doom in Fox’s 2005 and 2007 films.

Last week, ScreenRant reported actors Adrian Brody (Splice) and Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors) were in negotiations to play the leader of the Fantastic Four, Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic). Although there has been no confirmation on Fox’s part, CBM is reporting that this is indeed true. However, it looks like Fox is leaning more towards Academy Award winner, Adrian Brody (The Pianist), who they think will give the project more credibility.

As for the remaining members of the Fantastic Four, CBM is reporting that Alice Eve, who was up for the role of Emma Frost in the upcoming X-Men: First Class, is a frontrunner for Sue Storm (The Invisible Woman). Up for the part of her brother, Johnny Storm (The Human Torch), is virtually unknown actor Kevin Pennington (90210). It is currently unknown who is being considered for the role of Ben Grimm (The Thing), but Fox has confirmed that they want to go with a completely CGI-rendered version of the character, so the actor would definitely have to have the voice to pull it off.
