supermandirectorshortlist Who will direct the next Superman film?

Quick recap, Warner Bros. is looking to put out another Superman film by 2012 and have given Christopher Nolan and his wife producing partner Emma Thomas the job to choose a director. They will produce the film and he look over it while the director directs.

So who are the people they is looking at? Some names thrown around have been Tony Scott (Top Gun, Unstoppable), Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code), Jonathan Liebesman (Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Battlefield: Los Angeles), Matt Reeves, (Let Me In, Cloverfield), and Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen and the upcoming Sucker Punch). Are very eclectic group with a wide range of talent so in a few weeks there will be an announcement.

About Bruno

So I bought my first comic book when I was 7 years old, Batman #483, Crash and Burn: A Love Story. I still have it, cover missing, but I still have it. That tells you two things, I have read comic books for a long time and liked Batman possibly even longer. Since that point my interests have gone everywhere, Sci-Fi, 2001: A Space Odyssey is a great film, fantasy, noir, and World War II history with an interest in modern warfare also. I like to think that certain things I bring to this site will inform and make people check out certain shows, Doctor Who and Supernatural, and bring a chuckle or two. So that's that, oh and Excelsior!
