The Walking Dead is directed by Frank Darabont and based on the hugely popular comics written by Robert Kirkman, is centered around Rick Grimes (portrayed by Andrew Lincoln) and a group of survivors trying to get by in a world stricken by a zombie plague. Production for the show began in June in Atlanta and so far AMC has ordered six episodes as part of its first season this marks the fourth of AMC’s original series; the first three being Breaking Bad, Mad Men, and Rubicon.
